Technical Assurance Management Role – Electrical Systems

About the Role

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project, redefining ambition. Our values shape how we consult and define the professionals we seek to join us.

In this role, you will oversee the design of electrical systems through the concept stage, ensuring compliance with business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements for government programmes. Key responsibilities will include ensuring design principles are maintained through contractor-led design and construction, with input into tender processes, condition surveys, and handover.

Your passion for building services and proactive problem-solving will be crucial as you manage electrical systems, collaborate across teams, and deliver exceptional outcomes. You’ll support carbon strategies and operate as a client technical advisor, contributing to the net zero transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliverable Management & Leadership

    • Manage deliverables, including direct reports, ensuring timely, in-scope, high-quality outputs.
    • Govern and assess team outputs to meet contract expectations and project scope.
  • Technical & Contractual Compliance

    • Develop and manage electrical system designs in alignment with contract requirements.
    • Support clients through tender processes, condition surveys, and project handover.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
