Electrical Design Engineer
Electrical Design Engineer Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary: up to £55,000 DOE
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a leading offshore oil&gas company working on equipment design across offshore energy, oil&gas, defence, dredging. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for producing the Electrical Engineering deliverables for a work pack / sub-system or project.
You will be: Producing technical solutions to complex engineering problems (may involve project or sales work), this can include concept design, detailed design, calculations, analysis and technical reports / documentation Taking ownership of the tasks assigned through to successful delivery within the specified time, budget to the specification and required quality standards Taking direction from Lead / Senior Engineer and Product Technical Lead where required Ensuring that design practices / guidelines / Royal IHC Ltd processes are followed

Main Requirements: BEng or MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Demonstrable experience in electrical design (ideally using EPLAN). Flexible and knowledgeable, able to work across disciplines and share ideas. Ability to work effectively with others in a cross-functional environment
