Electrical Design Manager

Our client is a specialist designer and provider of integrated infrastructure solutions, delivering complex facilities and engineering projects to operate in demanding environments across the UK and internationally.

They need an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design activities and support the development of construction systems and processes to drive current & future business expansion. You will shape how complex infrastructure projects are designed and delivered, with clear ownership of multidisciplinary engineering outputs.

What you will be doing

Lead electrical and civil design coordination across complex infrastructure programmes Guide engineering teams through design development, review and approval stages Ensure designs meet technical standards, regulatory requirements and delivery goals Manage design schedules, resources and budgets across multiple workstreams Contribute to technical proposals, tenders and continuous improvement initiatives

Your skills and experience

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Strong experience leading design activity within complex engineering or construction projects Experience within defence, infrastructure, construction or complex engineering environments. Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams Experience working in client facing or project delivery environments Leadership of engineering design teams within complex environments Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design integration Competence reviewing drawings, calculations and technical submissions Experience with industry tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP and Dialux Commercial awareness with practical problem-solving ability Clear communication with stakeholders across project lifecycles

Salary and rewards

Circa £65,000 per annum based on experience, plus structured career development and professional support
