Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Connect Appointments is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Dunfermline.

About the Company

Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality and engineering excellence, investing significantly in staff training and on-site facilities above the industry average.

What's on Offer?

  • Full-time permanent position after a 3-month probationary period
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
  • 17.00 per hour
  • Overtime and bonuses available
  • 33 days holiday per year

As An Electrical Engineer, Your Duties Will Include

  • Installing and fault-finding 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
  • Fitting lighting, marker lamps, beacons, reversing cameras, trackers and other ancillary equipment
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Carrying out vehicle and body electrical repairs and installations to a high standard
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with quality standards

To be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need:

  • Experience in commercial vehicle body building and/or auto electrics
  • Strong knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
  • Confident use of workshop tools and equipment
  • Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with tail lifts, hydraulic systems or specialist commercial vehicle equipment is advantageous
