Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working - minimum 1 day a week onsite)
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Private Medical + Excellent Benefits

The Role

You'll lead the design and coordination of electrical building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically robust and sustainable engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Electrical building services design and technical delivery
  • Power distribution, cable sizing, fault level and protection calculations
  • Integration of HVAC systems, heat pumps and associated controls
  • Technical review and quality assurance of engineering outputs
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers
  • Supporting project delivery from concept through to commissioning
  • Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and wider design teams

About You

We're keen to speak with individuals who have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in Electrical Building Services design within commercial environments
  • Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and industry regulations
  • Proven experience producing calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A desire to mentor others and contribute to business growth
  • Progress towards, or attainment of, IEng or CEng status would be advantageous
