Electrical Engineer
Multiskilled Technician (Electrical Engineer)
Job Overview
Location: Stafford Contract Length: 3 months minimum Rate: £23 per hour (PAYE) / £26 (Umbrella)
Hays is recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Technician to support a short-term temporary contract within a well-established facilities management environment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a commercial portfolio, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM (Predictive Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Deliver a high standard of service to site stakeholders
- Complete all relevant documentation and reports

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled or Maintenance Engineer
- Electrical or mechanical bias with strong fault-finding ability
- Experience within facilities management (FM) or commercial environments
- Ability to work reliably, proactively, and independently
