Global Lead Electrical Engineer - Remote, UK - Permanent Contract
Are you a Electrical Engineer looking for your next contract role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading high-tech facilities provider to work remotely, based in the UK, on a permanent contract.
Our client delivers cutting-edge projects for data centres worldwide. This is your chance to work with an innovative, market-leading company as their newest Global Lead Electrical Engineer.
What You’ll Do
- Lead global electrical engineering strategy for data centre projects, acting as the primary power systems SME.
- Develop and review electrical concepts, power architectures, and critical infrastructure designs during pre-construction phases.
- Support client engagements, technical workshops, bids, and stakeholder meetings on complex electrical matters.
- Mentor regional engineering teams and drive engineering best practice and standardisation globally.

What you’ll need:
- Extensive data centre electrical engineering experience within hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical environments.
- Expert knowledge of power systems including 400kV infrastructure, substations, MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, switchgear, and protection systems.
- Strong background in pre-construction, concept engineering, technical bids, and feasibility studies.
- Proven ability to engage with clients and senior stakeholders while providing technical leadership across multiple projects.
