Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Middleton. The Electrical Engineer will develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and reviewing electrical schematics, safety circuits, control systems, inverters, and PLC (different manufacturers)
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues on production lines
  • Collaborating with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to implement improvements, support new machinery installations, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Participating in project planning, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles
  • Skills in Electrical Design, including schematics, layouts, and equipment specification
  • Experience with Power Distribution and Power Systems in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Practical experience with electrical safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing or production facilities, ideally within textiles or similar industries, is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly
