Job Role
This role is working 4 on 4 off shifts 6am - 6pm plus on call £22.53 ph
Job Purpose
To work as part of the mill engineering team to meet the full maintenance requirements of Ashbourne Feed Mill
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure a maintenance plan is in place and adhered to in such a way that production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum at all times.
- Provide and maintain a breakdown call out plan in such a way that production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum at all times.
- Providing regular reports on the maintenance status of the mill as a KPI.
- To maintain all pressure systems ensuring they fully comply with all legal and insurance requirements.
- To assist in the purchasing and stock control of all site maintenance requirements inline with budget targets.
- To maintain the current company permit to work system.
- To assist in ensuring that all work carried out by maintenance teams and contractors fully comply with company the health and safety policy.
- To monitor and control any negative environmental impact arising from the processes within area of responsibility; ensuring that all direct reports and colleagues are briefed and clear in regards to their responsibilities as outlined in the Moy Park Group Risk Management System Manual.
- Provide out of hours cover for breakdowns

Essential Qualifications and Skills
- BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Electrically qualified to 17th edition
- Mechanical Qualification
- Organised.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach to demands.
- Able to work as part of a team.
