About the Opportunity

An ambitious and rapidly growing renewable energy developer is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects across the UK.

This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, including electrical design, grid connection management, equipment selection, and construction support. In addition to solar PV and battery energy storage projects, there will be opportunities to contribute to emerging low-carbon technologies and innovative infrastructure developments.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative engineering team where initiative, continuous learning, and technical innovation are highly valued. The organisation actively encourages the use of digital tools, automation, AI, and coding to enhance project delivery and engineering efficiency.

The Organisation

Founded in the renewable energy sector, the company has established a substantial pipeline of utility-scale clean energy and energy storage developments across the UK. The business has a strong track record of taking projects from early-stage development through planning and delivery.

This position offers the chance to play a key role within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, where employees are empowered to take ownership, influence decision-making, and accelerate their professional development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
