Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your expertise becomes the benchmark for AI intelligence.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering problems across domains including circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and control systems to rigorously test AI performance
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions and "golden responses" that serve as the learning benchmark for AI models
- Audit Technical Accuracy — Evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, and others)
- Improve AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI logic, spot reasoning gaps, and deliver structured feedback that sharpens how models approach engineering problems

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
