Most people see an Aston Martin and admire the finished product. What they don't see is the engineering expertise, precision and collaboration that brings every detail together long before a vehicle reaches the road.

This is one of those opportunities.

As an Electrical Engineering CAD Leader

As an Electrical Engineering CAD Leader, you'll play a key role in shaping the electrical architecture of Aston Martin's future vehicles, leading CAD activities across multiple programmes and ensuring the highest standards of design quality and delivery.

This is far more than a CAD role, it's about coordinating priorities, driving design maturity, mentoring engineers and collaborating with teams across Engineering, Design and Programme Management to bring innovative vehicle concepts to life.

Working at the heart of Electrical Engineering, you'll lead the creation and management of critical CAD data, oversee task allocation across the team and support the development of electrical components and systems that help define the next generation of Aston Martin products.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
