Role: Electrical Engineering Professor (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $40 - $130/hour

Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Electrical Engineering Professor to work on a contract basis. The role involves teaching and advising students in electrical engineering programs, developing and delivering course content, and contributing to academic research initiatives. The professor will mentor students in both theoretical and practical aspects of electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in electrical engineering, including circuit design, power systems, and embedded systems.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials, including lectures, labs, and assignments aligned with industry standards.
  • Mentor students through research projects, theses, and capstone design courses.
  • Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and participatory assessments.
  • Collaborate with academic and industry partners to integrate practical applications into coursework.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with at least 3 years of teaching experience at the university level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and assessment for electrical engineering courses.
  • Experience mentoring students in research projects, theses, or applied engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including analog/digital circuits, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for teaching complex technical concepts.
