Aureol Global Connections is looking for a proficient Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects across various sectors. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to ensure that all costs are accounted for, including materials, labor, and equipment. You will collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to prepare competitive bid proposals that meet project requirements. Responsibilities Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates. Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to gather necessary information regarding project scope and requirements. Identify and quantify all associated costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, maintaining competitiveness and alignment with budget constraints. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and incorporate contingencies into estimates. Maintain an organized database of cost information and historical data to inform future estimates. Participate in value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring project integrity. Stay updated with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and best practices in electrical estimating. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a minimum of 3 years in the construction or electrical industry. Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction methodologies. Proficient in estimating software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development in estimating practices.
