Electrical Estimator | Romford | £70,000 - £80,000 + Package
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established M&E contractor for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Romford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across London and the South East, including Cat A & Cat B office fit-outs, commercial developments, hotels, education and high-end residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications.
- Produce take-offs and cost plans using Excel and estimating software.
- Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender returns.
- Attend site surveys and tender meetings.
- Identify value engineering opportunities.
- Support project handovers following successful bids.

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E or Electrical Contractor.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience with Countfire (desirable).
- Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ (desirable).
