An Opportunity for an Experienced Electrical Fitter, Electrical Engineer
An opportunity has been created for an experienced Electrical Fitter, Electrical Engineer with an immediate start as soon as possible.
This is initially an ongoing contract opportunity. Permanent vacancies arise regularly where transfer to permanent employment is available to the right people.
Semi-skilled Electrician's Mates also considered, must have industrial experience.
Mechanical Fitters are also required.
This is an onsite based role with no travel to alternative sites.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Electrical Industrial Engineering experience with qualification SVQ3 or equivalent City & Guilds Manufacturing
- Heavy Engineering
- Mechanical skills would be an added bonus
- May consider Semi-skilled Electrical skills/Electrician's Mate where the pay rate will be amended to SSB3 - Semi Skilled
Hours
- Monday to Thursday 0730-1645, Friday 0730-1230
- Nightshift may be required on an ad-hoc basis to cover holidays. Nightshift hours are Monday to Thursday 1900-0700.
- After training, Nightshift could be available to individuals requesting it. It will be a 2 week rotation, 2 weeks dayshift then 2 weeks nightshift.

Rates of Pay
- Earn £60k + per annum with dayshift, nightshift and overtime
- Basic £24.35ph - incl holiday pay
- OT1 £36.53ph - incl holiday pay
- OT2 £48.70ph - incl holiday pay
- Nightshift £36.53ph - incl holiday pay
- Paid - PAYE, weekly, 1 week in arrears
This is an ongoing contract with immediate start
This is as secure a contract role can be with a high likelihood of transferring to permanent employment, no guarantees of such, noting from our experience of supplying contractors for over 30 years to this company.
