Fixed Wire Testing Electrician – (City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection)
Position Overview
Commercial/Industrial Premises Location: Gloucester/Cheltenham
Perks:

The Role
As our Fixed Wire Testing Electrician, you’ll conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites. You’ll be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough EICR tests in diverse buildings (factories, schools, commercial units).
- Identify and report defects, hazards, and compliance failures with traceable records.
- Generate detailed compliance reports with actionable recommendations for clients.
- Stay updated on BS 7671, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and industry safety changes.
- Communicate findings clearly to clients, offering expert technical solutions.
- Ensure all standards and work practices comply with Guardian protocols.

Requirements
Essential:
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical inspection/testing (including EICRs on commercial sites).
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing) qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- IET BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards, including:
- BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations)
- Functional Testing (e.g., inner, outer, visual, earth bond)
- Portfolio/record-keeping procedures
- Full UK driving licence (essential to travel between sites).
Desired:
- Portable testing experience (e.g. BG/BE canal inspections).
- PAT porter ( проживитель) training (a plus).
Additional Details:
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (immediate start)
Salary: £48,367.80 - £50,661 base + paid travel (OTE up to £77,000 with bonuses/hours).
Location: High Wycombe
Holidays: 22 days (plus 8 bank holidays).
