Apprentice - Electrical Installation (Level 3)
Location: Ely
Contract Type: Fixed-term (4 years)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Starting Salary:
- Year 1: £19,968 per annum
About the Opportunity
Are you looking for your next step or a fulfilling career change? Our Apprenticeship programme combines hands-on experience with a nationally recognised Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification, delivered in partnership with West Suffolk College.
As part of Sanctuary Property Services, you’ll work across our local regions, gaining practical skills in residential properties. This fully funded apprenticeship offers full workplace training alongside excellent workplace support from a fully-qualified team.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll get involved in the following:
- Providing high-quality electrical work in 1st and 2nd fix installations
- Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical systems
- Installing electrical heating systems
- Building strong customer service skills to support long-term career growth
- Working with a team of fully qualified electricians under expert guidance

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who embody our core values of Ambition, Inclusion, Integrity, Quality and Sustainability, alongside:
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English
- An enthusiasm for practical and technically challenging work, with an interest in growing in gas or renewable energy sectors
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Requirements
- Ability to obtain (or willingness to develop) a full UK driving licence
- A full licence will be required before completion of the apprenticeship to drive a company vehicle
