Electrical Installation Supervisor
Full-time (45 hrs/week • Monday–Friday)
Our expanding business is currently offering an exciting opportunity for qualified Electrical Engineers to join our team as Electrical Installation Supervisors.
About the Role
We are seeking hardworking and resourceful Electrical Installation Supervisors to join our dynamic team of highly skilled Engineers. The ideal candidate will be:
- Self-motivated and a practical problem-solver
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Capable of ensuring high-standard work within agreed deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Surveying, installing, commissioning, and supporting site-based control systems and equipment (predominantly electrical, with some basic PLC programming – training provided)
- Traveling to UK-based client sites (up to 3 hours away max)
- Occasionally working flexible hours, with up to 20% of the working week away from home (hotel accommodation provided for commutes over 1.5 hours)
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ practical electrical supervisory experience
- Electrical qualifications: C&G, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, ONC or HND (minimum BS7671:2018 – 18th Edition regulation required)
- ECS Gold card holder (or able to qualify with Adsyst covering costs)
- SSSTS or SMSTS course qualification (desirable)
- Previous experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or service & support roles
- Electrical design experience (e.g., EPlan, AutoCAD) would be advantageous
- Control panel design, manufacture, or installation skills
- Experience with equipment installation & commissioning (e.g., PLCs) is desirable
