As an Electrical Installation Technician, you’ll work at the frontline of engineering and technology solutions critical to national security.

Daily tasks include:
- Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems to meet project specifications
- Supporting system integration activities across diverse engineering environments
- Adhering to health and safety regulations during work execution
- Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning

Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission electrical and mechanical systems to project requirements
- Support system integration projects across varied engineering environments
- Follow and enforce strict health and safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during installations
- Engage collaborially with project teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional colleagues
Requirements
Experience
Essential: ✅ Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with Health and Safety policies ✅ Proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel ✅ Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn on the job and pursue formal training
Qualifications
Must hold: 🔧 18th Edition BS7671 qualification (or actively working towards it) 🧰 City & Guilds 2392 level 3 Certificate of Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations 🚗 Full UK Driving Licence (essential for travel across projects)
Security Clearance
Workspace security: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. This role requires exclusive eligibility for Sole UK Nationals.
