- Location: Warrington
- Salary Range: Starting at £40,000 per annum (Negotiable: up to £52,500 per annum for experienced tutors with an IQA qualification)

The Role: Electrical Installation Tutor
About the Position: As an Electrical Installation Tutor, you’ll deliver theoretical and practical training aligned with National Occupational Standards to:
- Teach C&G courses (Level 2 to Level 4) and specialised renewable tech courses (BPEC Solar PV, Battery Storage).
- Develop, tailor, or review training materials as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high-quality training in electrical installation principles
- Assess student progress against course guidelines and maintain accurate performance records
- Strengthen student development by feedback, recommendations, and motivational support
- Adhere to Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, and workplace policies
- Collaborate with the team, learners, and external bodies
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Recent, relevant experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial electrical installations
- Minimum qualification: Level 3 Teaching award (e.g., PTLLS or equivalent) or Recent teacher training via a training provider apprenticeship (TEA)
- Level 2 in English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Solid electrical theory & science knowledge
- Hands-on electrician practical skills
- Full UK driving license
Desirable (Experience Pump)
- Level 3 Assessing qualification (e.g., ASET)
- City & Guilds IQA qualification (Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance)
- Additional NOC 72021 qualifications such as:
- C&G 2396 Home Tester
- Advanced courses in electrical monitoring (EMBY, EBEE)
- Renewable credentials: Solar PV, EESS (Energy-Efficient Storage System), Hybrid Technology
- EV Charging Design Certifications
