A well-established and highly respected education provider is seeking an Electrical Installation Tutor to join its growing team on a part-time, permanent basis.

The Role

You will deliver high-quality teaching and practical training to both full-time students and apprentices studying Electrical Installation. Working within modern workshop environments and classrooms, you will support learners in developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers in the industry.

Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Maintaining safe and effective workshop practices
  • Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement activities

About You

We welcome applications from experienced electricians who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, as well as existing lecturers and trainers.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Recognised Electrical Installation qualifications
  • Recent industry experience within domestic, commercial or industrial electrical work
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in developing and supporting learners
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider teaching team

Teaching experience is desirable but not essential. Full support and funding can be provided towards achieving a recognised teaching qualification for candidates transitioning from industry.
