Salary: Unqualified - £32,753.97 - £34,306.68 per annum
Qualified - £36,058.84 - £45,524.92 per annum
PLUS a Golden Hello of 5% in Year 1
Location: Base campus Cannock (to also cover Rodbaston Campus)

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, as this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic full time Electrical Installation Lecturer; to join our expanding and successful team, the introduction of “T” level qualifications and green technologies in our new Green Village Centre will allow us to expand and invigorate our curriculum offer for students with additions such as EV Charging and Solar Voltaic courses as well as the chance to develop enhanced digital technologies into the curriculum delivery.

Successful applicants must have relevant vocational experience and demonstrate their ability to be able to teach across a range of Electrical subjects to Level 3; support high quality delivery in all aspects of our provision within the remit of the area of learning, to support learners through appropriate induction, personal support and to undertake initial assessments as required by our college policies and procedures.
In addition, you will be required to prepare teaching and learning programmes to a high standard using appropriate individual and group techniques, including the effective use of e-learning activities and materials, which encourage active participation in learning.
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for delivering innovative, interactive sessions as well as providing support, inspiration and guidance to our learners. In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
