We believe that our strength is not just in our steel but the diversity of our workforce. Our people make the difference.

Electrical Apprentice Instructors

Electrical Apprentice Instructors are subject matter experts who are responsible for the design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of high impact learning events (either directly and/or via third parties as appropriate).

We are looking for an Electrical Apprentice Instructor to work in partnership with a range of internal &/or external stakeholders to ensure that training approaches are efficient, effective and meet business needs and/or the requirements of national qualification bodies, ensuring transfer of learning with optimum return on training investment.

Make a tangible impact

The Electrical Apprentice Instructor will play a crucial role in delivering our Apprentice framework across our sites in Port Talbot, Llanwern, Trostre and Catnic. You’ll be working with various departments to create and adapt training materials to ensure the apprentices are “site ready” to the TATA Steel UK engineering requirements.

The Electrical Apprentice Instructor will play a pivotal role in dealing with local area review meetings across the various sites and works areas on a regular basis, offering advice to the Engineering Managers and Mentors around performance of individuals, apprenticeships frameworks and continuous improvement suggestions.

You’ll also play a key role in recruitment activities such as supporting recruitment events in both TATA Steel and within the local schools and community.

The scope of this role, can also be extended to deliver against the wider requirements of a range of talent programmes (e.g. Apprenticeship, Higher Apprenticeship & Degree Apprentice programmes) and to manage a consistent pipeline of high calibre individuals into the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
