Electrical Learning Coach / Electrical Engineering Trainer to start in August 2026

Location: Aldershot, Surrey, Skills Centre based

Salary: £45k
Permanent Full Time
Monday to Friday + Excellent Benefits

  • 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays

Looking for a better work-life balance without leaving the electrical industry?

If you're an experienced electrician or electrical engineer who's ready to step away from site work, long hours, call-outs and weekend working, this could be the career move you've been looking for.

The Role

We're looking for an Electrical Learning Coach to join our client's Engineering team, helping Armed Forces Service Leavers develop new skills as they transition into civilian careers. These learners are motivated, engaged and genuinely want to be there, making this an incredibly rewarding role where you can use your industry experience to make a real difference.

No previous teaching experience? That's absolutely fine. If you have the right electrical industry background and a passion for helping others, we'll support you with the training and qualifications you need to become a successful trainer.

What's Different About This Role?

  • Monday to Friday working no evenings or weekends
  • Excellent work-life balance
  • Teach motivated adult learners who genuinely want to succeed
  • Pass on your industry knowledge instead of working on-site every day
  • Ongoing training and funded teaching qualifications
  • A friendly, supportive team where you'll be encouraged to develop your career

As part of the recruitment process, we'll invite suitable candidates for an informal visit and show-around. This is a relaxed opportunity to meet the team, see the training facilities and find out what the role involves before deciding if it's right for you. There's absolutely no obligation—it's simply a chance to explore a different career.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
