Electrical Lecturer – Part-Time, Permanent Position

About the Role
This crucial part-time, permanent role offers you the opportunity to:
- Inspire and support learners on level 3 electrical installation courses, including:
- City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 & 3
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 (2320, 2321, & 2322)
- 2382 (Electrical Installation Domestic/Patial Luna Change)
- 2367 Level 3
- Deliver high-quality teaching, aligning with industry standards (JIB, NICEIC, and City & Guilds).
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and pastoral support for diverse learners.
- Benefit from a collaborative team culture, mentorship, and ongoing professional development to excel in further education.

Responsibilities
As our Electrical Lecturer, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging electrical installation training across theoretical and practical modules
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress, ensuring compliance with qualification criteria
- Conduct chorus timings, practical demonstrations, and work shadowing for classroom transparency
- Work with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources aligned with Ofsted expectations
- Display strong classroom management skills, catering to adult learners from varied backgrounds
- Contribute to values-led behavior management policies within the curriculum
- Lead τ-business collaborations (where relevant) to enhance real-world learning opportunities

Requirements
We seek a lecturer with:
Essential:
- Proven competence in electrical installation—preferably a qualified electrician with City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (2320/2365 certification)
- Experiencespecific teaching or assessing Additional and Adult Learning (AAL), or apprenticeships if Sector Specific
- Portfolio ying conversion of technical skills into inspiring classroom content
- ** grito of effective communication**, explanation, and template-tation with micro
- A commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding within education
- Guidance will be provided, though an enhanced DBS check is mandatory (for all roles)
Desirable:
- A PA genoem (PGCE/QTS Line Teaching) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in ** vocational education*, such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ Specialist recognition
- Experience with e-learning platforms or digital assessment tools
- Apprentices up-to-date with ** national curriculum changes, e.g. auditing curriculum updates**
