Electrical Maintenance Engineer (HVAP Training Provided)

Location: North West London : Static Large Site

Salary: GBP45,000 : GBP55,000 (Upper banding dependent on HVAP status)

Hours: Monday : Friday 8am : 5pm

About The Role

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, rewarding role within a thriving educational environment?

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a diverse educational campus.
  • Fault: find and rectify issues with single/three-phase power, lighting, distribution boards, and emergency systems.
  • Once trained/qualified, act as the site's High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP), managing HV switching schedules and issuing permits to work.
  • Oversee external contractors and ensure all work complies with health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) and 18th Edition.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in commercial or large-scale site maintenance (e.g., universities, hospitals, corporate headquarters).

HVAP Status:

  • Ideally already an HVAP (securing the GBP50k-GBP55k bracket), OR a strong electrical background with the drive to undergo HV training (starting in the GBP45k-GBP50k bracket).
