Electrical Field Service Engineer / Industrial Electrician

Salary: £45,000–£70,000 per year (DOE, overtime & working away)

Location: UK-wide (working away required)

DCTM Biogas is a growing specialist engineering company delivering mechanical, electrical and operational support to anaerobic digestion and biogas facilities across the UK. Our services include electrical installations, ATEX inspections, PLC fault finding, CHP maintenance, SCADA systems and industrial engineering solutions.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on role involving travel to customer sites across the UK, carrying out installation, maintenance, commissioning and fault-finding on biogas and renewable energy plants.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Fault finding on industrial electrical systems.
  • PLC and control panel diagnostics.
  • ATEX installations and inspections.
  • CHP, motors, pumps and maintenance.
  • Testing and inspection.
  • Working safely to industry standards.
  • Completing service reports and supporting customers on-site.

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • ECS/CSCS card preferred.
  • Industrial or renewable energy experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work away from home Monday to Friday.
