Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Electrical Engineer – Lead Engineer (Facilities Maintenance)
Location: University Hospital of North Durham
Working Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM – 4:30PM)

Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:

Ensuring Facilities Compliance: Maintain facilities to the standards outlined in the Project Agreement between Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) and Redcar and Cleveland Council.

Technical Maintenance: Perform planned, responsive, and cyclical electrical maintenance tasks, either independently or as a lead/maintenance tradesperson:
- Lighting and power distribution systems repair & maintenance
- Reactive power and lighting system repairs
- Motor and pump servicing and repairs
- BMS (Building Management Systems) operations with competence
- PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) with proficiency

Requirements
To be successful, you must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in maintenance within a commercial environment.
- Hold a City & Guilds 18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification. 18th Edition certification is mandatory.
- Specialist experience in electrical power distribution systems is essential.
- Experience in electrical testing is preferred.
Licensing & Legal
- Valid UK Driving Licence (required).
- DBS Check must be completed prior to starting.
