The Role
As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping a highly automated production facility running at peak performance. You will be trusted to take ownership of electrical fault finding, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help drive reliability across the plant. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and enjoys solving complex technical problems.

Key Tasks
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on automated machinery
- Supporting PLC fault-finding and control systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Assisting with mechanical maintenance when required
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Driving improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
What We Are Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Completed engineering apprenticeship
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience in manufacturing
- Experience with automated production equipment
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- (PLC knowledge and experience with hydraulics/pneumatics are a bonus)
