Our prestigious and market leading client, based in Shipdham, is currently seeking a proactive Electrical and Mechanical Engineer.
Do you have qualifications in Electrical and Mechanical engineering?
Are you an engineer with an enquiring mindset, can do attitude, strong problem-solving skills, who operates with a sense of urgency and purpose (particularly under breakdown pressure)?
Are you able to work effectively within a small team of experienced engineers?
If the answer is yes, you could be the right candidate for this role.
This is a full time, permanent position, based in Shipdham.
Primary accountabilities:
- Maintain the mill plant and equipment to continuously ensure the safe and wholesome production of our animal feeds.
- Work closely with the Production Team and take necessary actions to correct underperformance of plant equipment and machinery. This will be through investigation, initiatives and working closely with the mill team.
- Investigate and take the necessary corrective actions to resolve any quality issues directly caused or influenced by the mill plant equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement across the site.

Other duties:
- Be part of a Maintenance Team call out rota and be available for out of hours call out cover two nights per week (to include rare Sunday cover). Also to include planned Saturday maintenance.
Scope of the role:
Working as a hands-on fitter.
Experience / Qualifications
- You must have experience in a production environment and working with contractors.
- 18th Edition.
- You will have a multi-skilled background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering - NVQ Level 3 / 4 in Electrical Engineering / Electromechanical or equivalent.
