Experienced Electrical Panel Build Technician
North Tyneside
Day Shift
£21 per hour + Overtime
12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a time-served Electrical Panel Wiring Technician looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re recruiting for a skilled and detail-focused professional to join our on-site team in North Tyneside.
This role offers consistent day shift hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality electrical build projects within a structured production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Wiring and assembling electrical control panels using detailed schematics and layout drawings
- Building small, precision components to exacting quality standards
- Working to allocated production tasks aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Carrying out and contributing to Task Risk Assessments
- Identifying and supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

What We’re Looking For
- Time-served Electrical Technician with strong panel wiring experience
- Confident reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
- HNC qualification (or equivalent hands-on industry experience)
- Proven ability to meet production deadlines and work to schedule
- Experience in correct assembly of electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Skilled in stripping, crimping, terminating, and working with various cable types, including umbilicals
- Background in a Continuous Improvement / lean-driven environment
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and contribute beyond core duties
