A leading industrial engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Plant Technician to join its operations team based in Alloa. This is a varied position combining electrical maintenance, process plant operations, fault finding and site support across a major production facility and multiple satellite sites throughout Scotland.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of critical industrial equipment while playing an important part in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, support major maintenance activities and contribute to the ongoing performance of both the main facility and customer-based satellite plants.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and fault finding on industrial electrical equipment
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Support plant start-ups, shutdowns and operational activities
- Work across the main production facility and satellite sites
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures
- Participate in major maintenance projects and shutdowns

The Candidate
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship
- Experience within a process plant or industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Knowledge of HV/LV systems and industrial equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with SAP or similar CMMS systems desirable
Package
- GBP40,000 - GBP42,000 basic salary plus company car
- 5% annual bonus and 10% on-call allowance
- 39-hour working week with 1-in-4 on-call rota
- 26 days annual leave plus UK Public Holidays
