Electrical Project Engineer
Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire
£60,000 - £65,000 + Private Medical + 42 Days Holiday + 16% Pension + Life Assurance
Are you an Electrical or EC&I Engineer looking to develop your career within projects?
Do you have a strong technical background within manufacturing, chemicals, power generation or another industrial environment and want the opportunity to take greater ownership of plant improvements and capital projects?
An excellent opportunity is available to join a leading chemical manufacturer who can offer you full training & development on project engineering.
Whilst previous project experience is advantageous, the company are also interested in finding someone with strong technical electrical or EC&I knowledge who is looking to further develop on the project delivery side.
Working within an experienced engineering team, you will support and deliver a range of electrical and EC&I projects including plant upgrades, equipment installations, reliability improvements and capital investment initiatives.

The Role
- Deliver electrical and EC&I projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Support the delivery of capital investment and plant improvement projects.
- Produce technical specifications and review engineering designs.
- Manage contractors and support installation activities.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance and production teams to minimise disruption during project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Support plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
We're looking for someone with experience of or similar to:
- Electrical Project Engineer
- EC&I Project Engineer
- EC&I Engineer
- Electrical Engineer
- Instrument Engineer
- Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, power generation, oil & gas, heavy engineering or other industrial process environments would be highly desirable.
