This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced telecoms professional with a strong electrical background, looking to take the next step in their career while playing a key role in delivering major telecoms infrastructure projects across the UK.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical part in supporting the successful delivery of telecoms infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate closely with internal departments to provide specialist electrical expertise across the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Expertise in technical support and management of electrical works
  • Ensuring all activities meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and Clarke’s quality benchmarks

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist electrical support across Clarke and external project stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Design Engineers post-site surveys to agree electrical proposals, cable routes, containment requirements, and power solutions.
  • Coordinate electrical installation programmes and support scheduling of electrical works.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with:
    • Current electrical wiring regulations
    • Industry standards
    • Customer specifications
  • Review and approve electrical design drawings and associated documentation.
  • Procure electrical materials and subcontractor services where necessary.
  • Attend pre-start meetings and conduct site visits to deliver technical guidance for complex projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions for timely, on-target project delivery.
  • Ensure electrical handover documentation and certification completion within stipulated timescales.
  • Lead quality issue resolution, audit findings, and post-build defects.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Lead electrical team performance through coaching, appraisals, and career development initiatives.
  • Contribute to project reporting, performance reviews, and client meetings as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
