Electrical Project Manager

Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Edinburgh

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Purpose

To liaise with Dalkia customers, ensuring a high-quality service while maintaining profitability and efficiency across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Control project costs and maintain profitability while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance, and company procedures.
  • Develop strong client relationships by delivering excellent service, optimising future business opportunities.
  • Ensure all works adhere to relevant British Standards, client specifications, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and support site-based teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide technical support, training, and development opportunities to enhance business effectiveness.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through existing relationships and market development.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • HNC or equivalent in Building Services Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred).
  • Extensive experience in M&E project management, including financial and commercial knowledge.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management abilities.

Desirable:

  • Proven track record in financial and accounts management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and drive high performance.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and commercial principles.
