About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our growing EV Charging team. You will be responsible for delivering electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy and sustainable transport projects as the UK continues its transition to net zero.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple EV charging installation projects simultaneously.
- Plan, programme, and oversee project delivery from design through commissioning.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, DNOs, clients, and internal teams.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Produce project programmes, progress reports, and client updates.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
- Resolve technical and operational issues throughout project delivery.
- Ensure installations comply with BS7671, relevant electrical standards, and client specifications.
- Support project handover, commissioning, and final documentation.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
- Experience delivering EV charging, electrical infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy, or ICP projects.
- Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and installation practices.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable
- Experience working with AC and DC EV charging infrastructure.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- ECS or CSCS card.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Prince2, APM, or equivalent project management qualification.
- Experience liaising with DNOs and IDNOs.
