Electrical Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Out
Location: London & South East
Salary: Competitive + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing electrical installation projects within office, retail, hospitality, and commercial environments. You'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality, and client expectations are delivered to the highest standard.
The Role
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple commercial electrical projects, including:
- Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion and client handover.
- Planning and coordinating project programmes to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Leading client, subcontractor, and design team meetings.
- Managing project budgets, cost reporting, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensuring electrical installations comply with project specifications, current regulations, and BS 7671.
- Reviewing RAMS and ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met on site.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour across multiple projects.
- Supporting and mentoring site supervisors and installation teams.
- Managing commissioning, testing, certification, O&M manuals, and project handover documentation.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery.

Essential
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an electrical contracting or M&E environment.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent electrical qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience delivering commercial fit-out, office fit-out, retail, or hospitality projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, building services, and BS 7671.
- Experience managing project budgets, subcontractors, variations, and final accounts.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CSCS or ECS Gold Card (or above).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
