Electrical Project Manager
Location: Brent Cross, North London
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Package
Electrical Project Manager | Major Student Accommodation Development | North London
Our client, a highly respected Building Services Contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery of a flagship 600-bed student accommodation development in Brent Cross.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex MEP projects across London. With a strong pipeline of secured work spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use and education sectors, the business continues to grow and is looking to strengthen its project delivery team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the electrical package, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the electrical package throughout the construction programme.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors and specialist subcontractors.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical and main contractor teams.
- Monitor project progress, labour and resource allocation.
- Manage procurement of plant, materials and subcontract packages.
- Ensure works comply with project specifications and current industry standards.
- Attend and lead client and coordination meetings.
- Support the commercial team with variations, forecasting and cost control.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and successful project handover.
- Promote the highest standards of health, safety and quality across site.
About You
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the Building Services or M&E contracting sector.
- A proven track record delivering large-scale residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing project programmes and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to drive project performance.
- SMSTS and CSCS qualifications.
- Relevant Electrical Engineering or Building Services qualifications.
