Electrical Project Manager – Tier One Main Contractor

Up to £105,000 + Package

Central London

Large-Scale Life Sciences Project

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading Tier One Main Contractor, delivering a flagship Life Sciences development in the heart of Central London.

This is a key position on a technically complex, high-profile project that will require an individual with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale MEP installations from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the electrical package from inception through to project completion.
  • Coordinating and managing specialist electrical subcontractors.
  • Working closely with the client, consultants, design teams and wider project stakeholders.
  • Monitoring programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks while driving programme milestones.
  • Overseeing procurement, technical submissions and commissioning activities.
  • Ensuring all works comply with project specifications, industry standards and statutory regulations.
  • Producing regular progress reports and attending client and site meetings.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
  • Previous experience delivering Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, data centre or other technically complex projects would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical building services and MEP coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and project performance.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and SMSTS/CSCS certification.
