Electrical Project Manager (Grid Connection & HV Infrastructure)

£60K- £70K

If you’ve gained some Project Management experience and are looking for a Long-Term role in a real PM capacity - with full Management responsibility, including Sub-Contractors & Suppliers, this one is for you!

More than Project Management alone, this role offers you a chance to be the “Project Owner”, with full responsibility of the projects you work on. This means you’ll be managing Delivery from Contract Award all the way to Energisation.

You’ll liaise with Clients, DNOs, Contractors & Internal Teams, playing a key role ensuring safe project delivery – on time and in budget.

This is a Hybrid role, offering 2 Days Work from Home and 3 days per week onsite in Bristol (or Newark).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of HV and grid connection projects up to 132kV.
  • Managing projects from pre-construction through to energisation.
  • Liaising with DNOs, clients, contractors and internal delivery teams.
  • Controlling project costs, programmes, risks and commercial performance.
  • Leading site delivery teams to achieve key milestones safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Supporting renewable energy and power infrastructure projects critical to the UK's energy transition.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
