Role Description
The Electrical Qualifying Manager is a full-time role located in Oxfordshire, responsible for overseeing the technical quality and compliance of electrical work carried out by the company. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Supervising electrical installations and maintenance
- Ensuring adherence to current regulations and industry standards
- Signing off work as the competent person for certification purposes
- Conducting inspections and testing
- Diagnosing faults
- Providing technical guidance to electricians and apprentices
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Liaising with clients and regulatory bodies
- Supporting health and safety practices across all projects

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering expertise, including understanding of regulations, fault-finding, and system testing. City & Guilds 2391.
- Proven experience as a qualifying manager, supervisor, or senior electrician within commercial or industrial environments is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of BS7671 wiring regulations and associated guidance notes, health and safety requirements, and relevant compliance standards is expected.
- Effective communication skills, ability to lead and mentor a team, and strong attention to detail in documentation and reporting are advantageous.
- Experience using testing software programs e.g. Click/Trimble.
