Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

About the role

We have a new opportunity for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join the Guinness Property team. This is a full time role, working 39 hours per week, covering locations across the London region. The role is agile‑based, enabling flexible, collaborative working to support electrical qualification inspections.

Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our residents’ homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.

The purpose of this role is to support and guide operational colleagues and have specific responsibility for the safety, technical standard and quality of electrical installation work completed by the electrical team.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with proven experience of delivering a quality electrical testing  service that meets all the regulatory standards including maintaining NICEIC accreditation.

You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing up to 400v. 
  • Up to date working knowledge of inspection, testing and fault finding. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the current IEE Regulations. 
  • Ability to influence others and communicate effectively in conflict situations. 
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service. 
  • Experience of using maintenance information systems. 
  • Excellent oral and written communications. 
  • Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of working with teams to manage process and service delivery. 
  • Up to date knowledge of improvements and innovations within the industry. 

Essential Qualifications:

  • IET EAS Recognised underpinning core technical competence qualification – (C+G 2365, Electrotechnical NVQ Level 3 along with AM2 endpoint assessment).
  • IET EAS recognised, current wiring regulations qualification (currently 18th Edition).
  • IET EAS recognised initial verification and Inspection and Testing qualification (ie 2391-52 or equivalent).
