Electrical Qualifying Supervisor – Leeds Area
We’re seeking a qualified and conscientious Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our respected trades team, supporting our social housing contracts in Leeds. Given the residential nature of the projects, you’ll need a strong focus on customer service, ensuring homes receive the best quality and care.

Key Responsibilities
As the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS), your role will include:
- Conducting on-going electrical testing (EICRs) and repairs in occupied residential properties
- Checking and signing off electrical certification work carried out by other electricians
- Notifying building control of new installation works
- Ensuring kitchen and bathroom installations are completed to a high standard, including post-inspections
- Validating electrical repairs, small works, tests, and inspections
Requirements
To excel in this role, you must have:
- A qualification at NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, along with AM2 certification
- 2391 Testing and Inspection is essential
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge is a must
- Extensive experience working in domestic environments, including occupied residential settings
- Flexibility and a pro-active attitude, including occasional on-call emergency out-of-hours work
- Strong customer-facing skills—you’ll often be the face of the business for service users
- A full valid UK driver’s license
