Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) – Contract Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with strong HV/LV expertise to join a project on a rotational contract basis. The successful candidate will ensure the safe operation, control, and authorisation of electrical systems while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
Contract Details
- Duration: Initial 6–12 month contract
- Tax Status: Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV/LV systems
- Control, issue, and manage permits to work and switching operations
- Ensure safe isolation and energisation of electrical systems
- Review and approve switching schedules and procedures
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to site personnel
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out safely
- Liaise with project teams, engineers, and contractors

Requirements
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Accredited High Voltage Senior Authorised Persons Course (essential)
Experience
- Proven experience working as an SAP on HV/LV systems
- Strong background in electrical operations and switching
- Experience working on EPCM projects
