Location: Moorgate, London
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum
Shifts: 4-on 4-off Days Only (07:00-19:00)
About The Role
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large corporate site based in Moorgate, London.
You’ll be part of a 4 person skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.

Working on a 4-on 4-off rotating shift pattern, days only shifts 7am-7pm.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Shift Engineer
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Work alongside mechanical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements of the Electrical Shift Engineer
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations / Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment.
- Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently on shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
