Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Craftsperson to join our facilities team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent shift-based position working an average of 38.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, days only from 06:30 to 18:30. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Reporting to the Technical Services Manager
- To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carry out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
- To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
- To manage Contractors as necessary
- Working an average of 38.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, days only from 06:30 to 18:30.
Who are we looking for?
- Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience.
- Experience in building services is required
- Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an AP as required
- IT Literate
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
- Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
- Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous
- Must have a good understanding of health and safety best practice; formal training an advantage.
