Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Electrical Site Services Supervisor located in Service Centre in Hemel Hempstead, covering sites across the UK and occasionally Europe. Reporting to the Service Centre Operations Manager, EMEA, the Electrical Site Services Supervisor role involves leading on-site installation activities, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery, and preparing systems for commissioning in line with project requirements. What a typical day looks like: Supervising installation and maintenance activities on site, ensuring work is completed in line with drawings, standards, and programme timelines Coordinating and directing site teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, right-first-time installation Managing and overseeing testing, interconnection, and commissioning of LV switchgear Monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and escalating risks or issues where needed Ensuring all site documentation (certificates, handover documents, testing records) is completed accurately Leading health & safety on site, including inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems Liaising with clients, attending commissioning meetings, and supporting smooth project delivery Ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and promoting a zero-harm culture across all site activities Identifying and resolving site issues proactively, maintaining efficient execution of works without compromising safety or quality Preparing systems for commissioning and managing defect close-out activities The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Proven experience in site supervision within electrical installation projects, ideally with LV switchgear Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role on construction or industrial sites Strong knowledge of health & safety practices, risk management, and site compliance requirements Ability to manage teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced site environment Relevant certifications such as SSSTS, UKATA Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, and a valid ECS card Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Eligible to work in the UK Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations as required What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: An environment where you will feel fulfilled by your work, valued for your contribution, and celebrated for your success; Opportunities to learn new skills in a fast-paced industry; A competitive salary and benefits package that includes: A merit-based annual pay review Enhanced annual leave Employee recognition scheme and long service awards Referral bonus Volunteer days Group Life Insurance, including a death in service payment and access to a virtual GP service 24/7 365 days a year Sick pay scheme Cycle to Work scheme Enhanced maternity/paternity leave Flexible/Hybrid Work based on your Job Function; Travel opportunities (role dependent); Support in your well-being by access to: Employee Assistance Programme offering free access to qualified counsellors and expert advice On-site trained Mental Health First Aiders Access to various discount programs (including food, activities, gym memberships etc.) BB97 Job Category Production Engineering Anord Mardix is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
