About the Role
We are an established electrical testing and compliance company and, due to continued growth, are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of our Remedial Works Department.
This is a hands-on management role requiring a technically competent and highly organised individual capable of managing multiple remedial and small works projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engineers, project planning, material procurement, client communication and technical support, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
A key part of the role is the management of project materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying material requirements, placing orders, monitoring deliveries, verifying that materials received are correct and suitable for the intended works, and ensuring engineers have the resources required to complete projects successfully. Whilst procurement support may be introduced as the department expands, material management currently forms an integral part of this role.
This position would suit an individual with previous experience managing multiple small works or remedial projects concurrently and who is comfortable coordinating engineers, subcontractors, materials and client expectations across a busy and varied workload.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
