We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Street Lighting Operative at JB Riney where you will be based from our Leyton Depot in Walthamstow.

Main Responsibilities
As an Electrical Street Lighting Operative you will report directly to the Contracts Manager and you will be integral to our team and be responsible for (not exhaustive):
- Ensure that all aspects of routine and non-routine maintenance is carried out
- Installation and removal of columns, posts and bollards, along with the installation of illuminated signs
- Identification and repair to client owned cable network
- Bulk cleaning and change to all types of street furniture where possible as well as the painting of street furniture
- Ensure plant is maintained to our high standards and is compliant and operational, reporting any defects
- Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with our contractual obligations
- Ensure all work carried out and documented in line with company SHE policies as well as reported on our maintenance system

The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in the role of Electrical Street Lighting Operative, you as the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in all aspects of Street Lighting within the Civil Engineering industry. You will also possess:
Skills / Knowledge and Qualifications of the Electrical Street Lighting Operative:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills
- Full UK manual car driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- G39
- IPAF
- NRSWA
- Manual Handling
- Abrasive Wheel
- HGV Class 2 / 7.5t license
- First Aid at Work
- Testing and Inspection
